DR MIA RADEMEYER


Dr Mia Rademeyer is a general psychiatrist who treats both adults and adolescents.

 
 

Dr Rademeyer has a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and a master's degree in Psychiatry (MMed Psych) (Cum Laude) from the University of Pretoria. She also has a Diploma in Mental Health (DMH SA) from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and a Fellowship of the College of Psychiatrists of South Africa (FCPsych(SA)).

After completing her medical degree and two years of internship, Dr Rademeyer started working full-time in psychiatry as a community service medical officer at Witrand Hospital in Potchefstroom, where she continued working as a medical officer until she began specialist training at Weskoppies Hospital. She qualified as a specialist after four years of high-quality training and studying at Weskoppies Hospital under the mentorship of some of the best academic professionals in psychiatry in the country. Dr Rademeyer has been in full-time private practice at Denmar Hospital since 2015.
